“It took me eight months to pass, because I decided not to force the process.”
EURUSD outlook for the day. Documenting the whole journey here - wins, losses and the lessons in between. Hopefully mainly wins. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee.
The pairs I was monitoring - EURUSD and GBPUSD for longs, USDCHF for a short - moved without returning to my Points of Interest. I did not chase price: if the setup does not meet my rules, I let it go. Discipline means accepting missed opportunities and waiting patiently for the next high-probability setup. Trade #4 - target hit. This AUDJPY trade triggered on Monday and finally reached target today: a clean +7R that erased the drawdown and pushed the account back into $500+ profit. I also tried a 0.5R re-entry that stopped out before the real move - that is trading. Current balance: $20,500+. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee.
Milestone: I have completed the first stage and moved on to the second. Not easy, but not that hard either - every new session is a new battle, and to know what to do you need a solid plan and a strategy for different situations. Thanks to that approach, most of my trading periods end in profit. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee.
Quick update: last week was a bit of a setback with a small loss overall, but Friday I locked in $400 and today I secured $900. Feels good to bounce back with solid setups. Losses happen - staying patient and only taking high-probability trades is what keeps you in the game. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee.
Round 1 ended: I breached the $20K CFD challenge account. Not much to say except to accept the outcome and take full responsibility. Grateful for the opportunity and the lessons - every setback is a chance to learn and come back stronger. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee.
