$20K CFD challenge – final update. Unfortunately, today I breached my challenge account. There is not much to say except to accept the outcome and take full responsibility for it. Trading has a way of reminding us that discipline, risk management and consistency are tested every single day. Although this challenge did not end the way I had hoped, I am grateful for the opportunity and the lessons it has taught me. Every setback is an opportunity to learn, improve and come back stronger. A sincere thank you to JoinProp and The Trading Pit for providing me with this opportunity and experience. This is not the end of the journey – it is another lesson in it. $20K CFD challenge update. Another losing day today. At this point it is clear that I need to step back and review my strategy and execution – there are areas that need improvement, and I want to identify exactly what is affecting my performance rather than continuing to trade without clarity. I am taking the rest of this week off to review my trades, analyse my journal and refine my approach. My goal is to come back next week with a clear mindset, renewed confidence and a stronger plan. See you next week. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
$20K CFD challenge daily update. Today was a challenging trading day. I took two trades and both were in profit at one point, but I stayed committed to my original targets and eventually both reversed and hit my stop loss. As a result I am back in a drawdown. Holding every trade until the full target is reached is not always the best decision – I need to keep reviewing when to secure partial profits, trail my stop, or let the trade run based on market conditions. Current equity balance: $19,561. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
$20K CFD challenge weekly update. This week I managed to recover from the drawdown and get the challenge back on track. It was not a perfect week though – I accidentally placed a trade with 6.0 lots instead of 0.6 lots while trading from my mobile. I caught the mistake, but it was a valuable reminder of how important it is to double-check every order before execution. Overall I am not completely satisfied with my performance: the account has recovered, but there is still room to improve my execution, decision-making and consistency. Current equity balance: $20,065. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
$20K CFD challenge update – today brought another opportunity. After seeing the previous day’s GBPUSD low get swept, I waited for my setup to align and executed the trade according to my strategy. It played out as expected and reached my target. With this trade the challenge has turned around – from being in a drawdown to being +$80 in profit. $20K CFD challenge update – a difficult day. I took 4 trades and unfortunately all four were stopped out; the market moved sharply against my positions without any obvious scheduled news or event. Regardless of the reason, the outcome is the same – accept the loss and move on. The focus stays on reviewing today’s execution, learning from it, and coming back prepared. The strategy does not change after one difficult day; consistent execution does. Current challenge drawdown: -$486. $20K CFD challenge trade update – a positive day, closing +$182. Challenge progress: previous drawdown -$258, today +$182, current drawdown -$76. The gap is getting smaller. This journey is a reminder that consistency and disciplined execution matter more than chasing quick recoveries – one good trade does not define success, just as one losing trade does not define failure. Only $76 left to recover; I will keep focusing on the process, managing risk, and taking one trade at a time. $20K CFD challenge trade update – after three consecutive losing trades, today closed +$161. Challenge status: previous drawdown -$419, today +$161, current drawdown -$258. A step in the right direction – the goal is not to recover losses in one trade but to keep following the plan, managing risk, and executing consistently. Still work to do, but with discipline and patience I will keep chipping away at the drawdown. $20K CFD challenge weekly update. Trades Monday to Wednesday: 6. Thursday and Friday: no trades, as no setups met the plan. Total profit +$65.10, total loss -$484.00. The results were not what I hoped, but preserving capital and waiting for high-quality setups matters as much as taking trades. Focus stays on disciplined execution and risk management. A personal realization about public trading challenges. I have traded challenges privately and also documented one publicly – same strategy, same rules, but a different mindset. Trading publicly brings an invisible pressure: people are waiting for updates, you do not want to disappoint, you feel you need to recover a loss quickly. Without realising it you stop trading for yourself and start trading to meet expectations. The market does not care whether the journey is public or private; it only rewards disciplined execution. Going forward the focus is simple: follow the process, respect risk, accept losses, and let the results speak for themselves. Sometimes the biggest pressure is not the market – it is the pressure we create ourselves. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
$20K CFD challenge daily update. Today I took two trades; both hit stop loss for a -$270 day ($135 each). Interestingly, the same market, strategy and process on my personal account finished +$169. Same setup, risk management and plan, yet different outcomes – it makes me reflect on whether challenge pressure is influencing my decisions or whether it is simply normal variance. Rather than changing strategy after a few losing trades, I will keep reviewing my execution, sticking to the plan and focusing on consistency. The challenge continues. $20K CFD challenge trade update. Today I took two trades during the London session, with a predefined risk of $100 per trade. Both trades reached their stop loss, for a total loss of $200. Losses are part of trading, and today’s outcome does not change the importance of following the plan. The focus remains on disciplined execution, proper risk management, and staying consistent over the long run. Done for the day – tomorrow is a new opportunity. $20K CFD challenge trade update: took a New York session trade with $100 risk targeting $200-$300 (1:2 to 1:3). As it moved in my favour I trailed my stop to protect profits; limited movement triggered the trail for a +$65 gain. I did not hit the full target, but I followed my plan and managed risk well. Consistency in execution is the priority – results follow over time. Long journey ahead. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee.
Excited to be part of the #RealPropChallenge with JoinProp and The Trading Pit. Another opportunity to test my discipline and consistency – I’ll share the journey openly: the good trades, the mistakes, and the lessons. My focus is not on quick profits but on following my plan, improving execution, and becoming a more consistent trader one trade at a time. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee.
