The MyForexFunds brand has been acquired by Global Solutions Operations FZE, a free zone establishment formed under the laws of the United Arab Emirates, which bought it from Traders Global Group Inc. with effect from August 1, 2026. The firm’s own terms of use and its ownership announcement both carry the transaction, and both are explicit that what changed hands was the brand and not the business that once ran behind it. For anyone who followed MyForexFunds through its collapse and its slow legal afterlife, that distinction is the whole story. A famous name now has a new owner, no products, and a rewards program that still belongs to somebody else.
What Global Solutions Actually Bought
The announcement published on myforexfunds.com lists the assets precisely. Global Solutions acquired the MyForexFunds and MFF trademarks, the logos and brand assets, the myforexfunds.com domain and its associated websites, and the brand’s official social media accounts. That is a list of intellectual property and distribution channels. It is not a list of accounts, balances, platforms, risk systems, broker relationships or staff.
The terms of use, last updated September 28, 2026, go further and state in plain language that Global Solutions is a separate entity from Traders Global and has not assumed any of Traders Global’s liabilities or obligations. Read together, the two documents describe a clean asset purchase: the buyer takes the name and the reach, and leaves the history on the seller’s balance sheet.
The price was not disclosed. Neither company has published what the brand sold for, how the deal was structured, or whether any part of it is contingent on future performance. The announcement also says Global Solutions is in discussions with members of the original MyForexFunds operations team about joining the company. Discussions are not hires, and no names beyond the two chief executives appear anywhere in the announcement.
Haider Raza, named in the announcement as chief executive officer of Global Solutions, framed the purchase around name recognition rather than infrastructure, saying that the recognition “is what we have acquired”. Murtuza Kazmi, named as chief executive officer of Traders Global, used his part of the announcement to say the outstanding rewards process remains the priority. Both statements point the same way: this was a trade in reputation.
The Rewards Program Did Not Change Hands
This is the part that matters most to any trader still waiting on money, and it is the part most likely to be misread. Traders Global remains solely responsible for the discretionary rewards program covering traders whose accounts were affected in August 2023. Traders Global has engaged Global Solutions under a services agreement to administer the remaining phases of that program on its behalf. Administration is the only thing that moved. The program remains Traders Global’s program, and the announcement states that all determinations continue to be made at Traders Global’s discretion.
So a trader with a pending submission now deals with a different operator at the front desk while the decisions are still taken by the same party as before. The practical instruction in the announcement is to keep using the existing submission and communication channels rather than treating the sale as a reset. Nothing in the documents suggests a new claims window, a new deadline, a new appeal route or a new standard of assessment.
JoinProp covered the two-week claims window that opened for affected traders in June, and the rollout phases before it. Nothing published this week revises any of those numbers or dates. If you were told your submission was in a given phase, the sale does not move you out of it.
There Is No Product Behind the Brand Yet
The announcement is unusually direct about this, and the directness is worth crediting. Global Solutions states that it is not currently offering any products or services under the MyForexFunds brand. The website reflects that. It is a retrospective: a page about what the firm was, a set of numbers from its past, a gallery of office photographs, and an email capture form.
The numbers on that page are the firm’s own historical claims rather than audited figures. It says more than 450,000 traders took part in its programs and that more than $290 million in rewards was distributed. Those are presented as history, not as a current promise, and they should be read that way.
What comes next is unpublished. The announcement says an important update about the brand is expected in the coming weeks and will be shared through official MyForexFunds channels. It does not say what the update contains. There is no published account model, no evaluation structure, no profit target, no drawdown rule, no profit split, no payout cycle, no pricing, no platform, no broker, no launch date and no statement about which jurisdictions would be served. There is also no statement in the announcement about any regulatory licence or authorisation held by Global Solutions.
That means every question a trader would actually need answered before funding an account is still open. Until those answers are published, the old MyForexFunds program names carry no information about what a future product would look like.
What a Trader Should Do With This Information
Very little, for now, and that is the honest answer. There is nothing to buy, so there is no decision to make. The useful move is to note three things and wait.
First, separate the brand from the obligations. If you have a pending submission, your counterparty is still Traders Global, whatever logo appears on the portal you use. Second, do not let the familiar name do the work that a rule set should do. The name is now an asset owned by a company with no published track record of running a prop firm, and brand recognition tells you nothing about how a drawdown is calculated or whether a payout clears. Our decision framework for choosing a prop firm starts with rules and payout mechanics for exactly this reason.
Third, treat the first product announcement as the real event. When pricing and rules appear, they can be read against the rest of the market the way any other launch is, and the same comparison of rules, costs and payouts applies. A relaunch under a known name deserves neither a discount nor a premium on trust until it has published something to assess. If it helps to have a baseline, our payout tracker records what firms with live products are actually paying now.
What This Means for the Broader Prop Industry
A prop firm brand has just been priced, sold and transferred as a standalone asset, separately from the company that built it and separately from that company’s liabilities. That is new, and it is more significant than the identity of either party.
For most of this industry’s short history, the name and the operation were the same thing. A trader who recognised a logo was recognising a specific team, a specific rule set and a specific payment record. If brands can now be bought and relaunched by unrelated buyers, that link is broken, and recognition stops being evidence of anything. The signal a trader thought they were reading becomes a trademark registration.
The structure of this deal makes the point sharply. The buyer took the trademarks and the audience and explicitly did not take the obligations, while the seller kept the discretionary rewards program it still owes. That is a rational way to structure a purchase, and the firms deserve credit for stating it clearly rather than letting the ambiguity sit. But it also means a trader who sees a revived MyForexFunds offer in six months will be looking at a page that carries all of the old brand’s recall and none of its accountability.
Expect this to happen again. There is a long list of collapsed or dormant prop brands with large residual search traffic and warm trader memory, and this transaction establishes that such a name has a market value on its own. Some of those relaunches will be run properly by operators who publish rules and pay out. Others will be a familiar logo over an unfamiliar risk desk. The only way to tell them apart is to ignore the name and read the terms, and the warning signs worth checking before funding any account have not changed because the ownership did.
Global Solutions has said an update is coming. Until it arrives, MyForexFunds is a trademark with a mailing list, and the most useful thing anyone can say about it is exactly that.
