About Arihant
Arihant Nahar is a 29-year-old swing trader from Guwahati, India, trading currencies and gold on the 4H and daily timeframes. He started prop firm trading in mid 2023 and got funded for the first time in October 2025. He is open about being early in the journey โ he has blown more than 50 accounts and has not locked a payout yet โ but trading has been his Plan A to Z, and the freedom he is chasing keeps him patient and consistent.
Q Who are you, and what do you trade?
A I am Arihant Nahar, 29, and I am from Guwahati, India. I trade currencies and gold as a swing trader.
Q When did you become a funded trader, and what changed for you?
A I started prop firm trading in mid 2023 and became funded for the first time in October 2025, though I have not been able to lock a payout yet.
Q How did you feel when you became funded for the first time?
A When I got funded, my psychology changed and I became confident. But that confidence turned out to go the other way.

Q How many times did you fail before getting funded, and what kept you going?
A I have blown around 30+ accounts before getting funded, and 50+ accounts in total so far. What keeps me going is the freedom I would get from trading, and the vision I started with keeps me patient.
Q What was your lowest point, and did you ever consider quitting?
A I never considered quitting trading, because I never had a Plan B. Trading has been my Plan A to Z.
Q Did trading ever affect you mentally or emotionally?
A Trading is a mental game. It drains you to the core. It has affected me a lot, yet I keep working and I keep going. I love this game.
Q What does your trading style look like today?
A I trade currencies and gold, particularly on the 4H and daily timeframes. I am a swing trader.
Q Whatโs a typical trading day for you?
A My routine is built around working on myself: meditation, the gym, and reading books. I watch the charts for 15 to 30 minutes twice a day to keep an eye on my trades. I also work on my content game, which keeps me busy.
Q Do people around you understand what you do?
A I am a private person, so I do not share what I do. The few people who know support me in my journey. And of course, there are people who call this game gambling, and that cannot be changed.

Q How has trading impacted your lifestyle?
A Trading has changed my life in all aspects and made me a better person. I wouldnโt be here if I hadnโt gone through this journey, and I wouldnโt change anything.

Q What keeps you motivated to continue trading?
A What keeps me motivated is the freedom trading can give me and the vision I started with. I started with a dream and I am on this journey; not profitable yet, but I will surely make it one day. I love this game because it isnโt for everyone, and I am grateful I came across it.
Q What would you tell your younger self?
A I wouldnโt change anything, but I would tell my younger self to be more wise, and to be kind as a human.
Q If you were given a $1,000,000 funded account today, what would you do in the first 7 days?
A If I got the opportunity to trade a million-dollar account, I would promise myself to keep it for as long as I trade. I would target 2 to 3% a month as a professional, and work like a hedge fund manager.
