OneUpTrader Discount Code, 15% OFF with JOINPROP
Code JOINPROP takes 15% off OneUpTrader through the link on this page. OneUpTrader is a CME futures firm, not a forex firm, so the whole rule set works differently from most of the deals on this site. Two things set it apart immediately: there is no daily loss limit at all, on the evaluation or the funded account, and funded traders keep 100% of their first $10,000 of profits. It scores 8 out of 10 in our review.
How to Claim Your OneUpTrader Discount
- Open OneUpTrader using the button above so the referral registers.
- Pick an account size, $25,000, $50,000, $100,000, $150,000 or $250,000.
- Enter JOINPROP at checkout and confirm the 15% is applied.
- Note the billing model. The fee is a monthly subscription renewing every 30 days, not a one-off purchase, and you pay 50% upfront with the remaining 50% due on funding. There is a free 7-day trial.
No Daily Loss Limit, But the Drawdown Is Live and Intraday
OneUpTrader removes the rule that ends most prop accounts and replaces it with one that is arguably harder. The firm states plainly that there is no daily loss limit on either the evaluation or the funded account. If your strategy needs room to be wrong repeatedly inside a single session before it works, that is a real advantage and very few firms offer it.
The trade-off is the trailing drawdown, and it is calculated in real time during the trading day. It trails your account balance, not your equity at some end-of-day snapshot, it ratchets up on every new balance high, and if your balance falls it stays where it is rather than widening back out. Commissions and fees are included in the calculation. You watch it in Rithmic R Trader Pro as the Auto Liquidate Threshold Value, and when price reaches it the platform closes you out.
The buffers are dollar amounts, not percentages: $1,500 at $25K, $2,500 at $50K, $3,500 at $100K, $5,000 at $150K and $5,500 at $250K. Note how the $250,000 account gets only $500 more room than the $150,000 one. The trailing stops permanently once it reaches your initial starting balance, and from then on it is locked for the rest of the evaluation, so the dangerous window is the profitable stretch before you get there. A trader who books a strong day and gives part of it back can be auto-liquidated while still net ahead overall.
The second rule that catches people has nothing to do with risk. All positions must be closed by 3:15 PM CT, with the trading day running from 5 PM CT to 3:15 PM CT. One forgotten position is a violation. There is no swing trading and no weekend holding here at all.
The 80% Consistency Test and Getting Paid
OneUpTrader’s consistency requirement is written as a sum rather than a percentage cap, which makes it easier to plan around than most. During the evaluation, any three trading days’ net profits must total at least 80% of your single largest day’s net profit. The firm’s own example: if your best day made $1,000, three other strong days need to add up to $800 or more. It can also be satisfied inside two profitable days. This applies to the evaluation only, not the funded account.
You also need 10 trading days minimum for placement, consecutive or not, weekends and CME holidays excluded, and you have up to five months to reach the target while the subscription renews every 30 days. Express Funding cuts that minimum to 5 days, which is the path a blown-up funded trader uses to requalify quickly.
On the money side, the split is 90% after the first $10,000, which you keep in full. Payouts can be requested any weekday and are processed the same day, which is faster than the fortnightly cycles common elsewhere. Bank wire posts in one to three business days. The constraints to know: a $1,000 minimum on your profit share, a withdrawal profit threshold to clear first that matches your drawdown figure by size, and on crypto a hard limit of one request per calendar week, $3,000 maximum per request, with a 5% processor fee and up to 14 business days to arrive. Anything larger goes by bank wire.
Two obligations continue after funding that are unusual and easy to miss. Funded traders must maintain a weekly trade volume of at least 50% of the average number of trades they completed during the evaluation, and there is a 90-day probationary period requiring positive net PnL above the starting balance, checked at 15-day intervals. This is not a firm you can go quiet on.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the OneUpTrader discount code?
A: JOINPROP, for 15% off. Apply it at checkout after opening OneUpTrader through the link on this page.
Q: Is there really no daily loss limit?
A: Correct, and it is the single best reason to look at this firm. OneUpTrader states there is no daily loss limit on the evaluation or the funded account. Your only hard risk boundary is the trailing drawdown, so a bad morning does not end your account provided you stay above the Auto Liquidate Threshold. That freedom suits strategies that need several attempts inside one session.
Q: How does the trailing drawdown work exactly?
A: It follows your account balance in real time during the day, not at an end-of-day snapshot. Every new balance high pulls the threshold up behind you by a fixed distance. If your balance drops, the threshold holds still rather than widening. Commissions and fees count. It stops trailing permanently once it reaches your initial starting balance, after which it is locked. The riskiest period is therefore the run-up before that lock, when giving back part of a good day can liquidate you while you are still profitable overall.
Q: Can I hold trades overnight or over the weekend?
A: No. Every position must be closed by 3:15 PM CT, and the trading day runs from 5 PM CT to 3:15 PM CT. This is a strictly intraday firm. Set a platform alert well before the cut-off, because a single position left open is a violation rather than a warning.
Q: Do I pay once or monthly?
A: Monthly. The fee is a subscription that renews every 30 days, from $65 to $325 depending on account size, and you pay 50% of the evaluation fee upfront with the remaining 50% due when you get funded. If you never pass, the second half is never billed. There is a 7-day free trial to test before committing.
Q: What is the consistency rule?
A: Any three of your trading days must together make at least 80% of your single best day. On a $1,000 best day, three other days must total $800 or more. It can also be met across two profitable days. It applies to the evaluation only, not once funded. Written this way it rewards building a steady record rather than capping any single session.
Q: How quickly do payouts arrive?
A: You can request any weekday and the firm processes requests the same day, which is genuinely quick. Bank wire lands in one to three business days. Crypto is slower and tightly capped, one request per calendar week, $3,000 maximum, a 5% processor fee, and up to 14 business days. Use bank wire for anything meaningful. The minimum is $1,000 of your own profit share.
Q: What is Express Funding?
A: A shorter route with a 5-day minimum instead of 10, intended for requalifying quickly. You can hold only one Express account at a time, against a maximum of three simultaneous funded accounts otherwise.
Q: Do I have to keep trading after I am funded?
A: Yes, and this is easy to overlook. You must keep weekly trade volume at 50% or more of the average number of trades you made during the evaluation, prorated for CME holidays, and you sit in a 90-day probation requiring positive net PnL above your starting balance, reviewed every 15 days. Traders who intend to trade sporadically after funding should look elsewhere.
Q: Is the capital real?
A: No. The terms state that no live trading is provided directly by OneUp Trader and that it does not give you the opportunity to invest actual currency, alongside the CFTC hypothetical-results disclosure. Passing traders are placed with unnamed funding partners. The company also describes part of what it offers as trader education and entertainment services. Read that framing before you buy.
OneUpTrader suits an intraday CME futures trader who wants no daily loss limit, 100% of the first $10,000, same-day payout processing and a cheap monthly entry with half the fee deferred to funding. Weigh that against a real-time trailing drawdown on balance, a hard 3:15 PM CT flat rule, tight crypto payout caps, a recurring subscription rather than a one-off fee, and continuing volume and probation obligations after funding.
