Instant Funding has told its mailing list that a code adding 10 points to the profit split, IF90PS, ends on Monday 28 September at 23:59 UK time, and that three other codes are running alongside it, including a new one taking 37.5% off IF Micro Pro. The deadline is the part that matters to anyone weighing a purchase this weekend, because it is the only date the firm has attached to any of the four. It is also worth knowing before buying that none of the four codes appears on Instant Funding’s public homepage, which is currently displaying a different set of nine codes, several of them Black Friday branded, in late September.
What IF90PS Actually Offers, and When It Ends
The firm describes IF90PS as an extra 10% on the profit split, framed as more of what a trader makes staying with the trader. It excludes IF Starter, and it ends on Monday 28 September at 23:59 UK time. That is the only hard deadline in the message and the only one of the four codes carrying a date at all.
The code name points at the outcome: a 90% profit split. That reading is supported by Instant Funding’s own homepage, where two other codes, FLOW and DRIVE, are both listed as bundling a 90% profit split alongside their headline discounts. In other words 90% is the firm’s enhanced tier rather than its standard, and IF90PS is a route to that tier rather than a discount on price. What the firm does not state in the message is which base split each program starts from, so a trader cannot calculate the size of the uplift on a specific product without checking that product’s own page first.
The distinction matters more than it looks. A discount reduces what a trader pays once. A profit split boost changes what the account returns on every withdrawal for as long as it runs, which makes it the more valuable of the two for anyone who expects to reach payout, and worthless to anyone who does not. Instant Funding has not said whether the uplift is permanent on the account or applies for a limited period after purchase, and it has not said whether accounts bought before this week can have it applied. Those two answers decide whether IF90PS is a reason to buy before Monday or an offer that can safely be ignored.
The Other Three Codes in the Same Message
MICRO375 is the new arrival, taking 37.5% off IF Micro Pro. The firm describes that product as instant access to a simulated funded account at a smaller size, with no profit target and no time limit, and says the code does not include add-ons. INSTANT40 takes 40% off Instant Funding Pro and Lite and IF Micro Pro and Lite, on account sizes up to $50,000. IF30 is described in the message as 30% off all programs sitewide, excluding Evolve, again with no add-ons.
EVOLVE10 takes 10% off Evolve, and the firm attaches a claim to it worth recording: that this is the first discount Evolve has ever had. JoinProp cannot independently verify a negative about a firm’s promotional history, so that is repeated here as the firm’s statement rather than as established fact. If it is accurate it is a small signal in itself, because a product that has never been discounted is usually one the firm believes sells without help.
None of these three carries a start date or an end date. A promotion without a deadline is not a dated event, which is why this report leads on IF90PS and treats the other three as context. A trader should assume any of them can be withdrawn without notice.
The Codes in the Email Are Not the Codes on the Site
Instant Funding’s homepage was read on the same day the message went out, and again before this report was published. IF90PS, MICRO375, INSTANT40 and EVOLVE10 do not appear on it. What the homepage displays instead is a block of nine codes: OURBEST at 10%, BFBOOST at 20%, BF2090 at 30%, IF30 at 30%, BFNEW at 42%, BF1 at 37%, BFBOGO at 20%, FLOW at 27% and DRIVE at 20%.
Codes that work at checkout without being advertised on a homepage are ordinary, and nothing here suggests the four emailed codes will not work. But two details in that block are harder to explain. Five of the nine carry Black Friday branding, and Black Friday is two months away. And IF30, the one code that appears in both places, is described differently in each. The message calls it 30% off all programs sitewide, excluding Evolve. The homepage describes it as 30% off Clarity and Original accounts, which are two of the product names Instant Funding retired this week when it renamed its range into Pro and Lite, a change JoinProp reported in its own coverage of the rename.
The same gap shows up in the product names. The message states that IF Starter is the new name for IF1, and IF90PS is said to exclude IF Starter. The homepage still lists IF1. A trader reading the exclusion on a code that ends Monday has to work out for themselves that IF Starter and IF1 are the same thing, because the firm’s own site has not caught up with its own announcement. Anyone comparing what a code covers should check it against the Instant Funding discount code page and the product page itself rather than relying on a promotional description.
What Instant Funding Has Not Said
Several answers are missing that a trader would reasonably want before Monday. There is no stated start date for any of the four codes, so a trader cannot tell whether IF90PS has been available for a week or a day. There is no published statement on whether IF90PS stacks with MICRO375, INSTANT40 or IF30, which is the single most consequential unknown here, because the difference between a 40% discount with a 90% split and a choice between the two is a large difference in value.
The firm has not said whether the profit split uplift is permanent on the account or time limited, whether it survives a scaling step, or whether it can be applied to an account already open. It has not published end dates for MICRO375, INSTANT40 or EVOLVE10. It has not said whether the nine codes on its homepage remain valid alongside the four in the message, or whether the homepage block is simply stale. And it has not given an effective date for the rename that would explain why IF30’s on-site description still names retired products.
None of that makes the offer bad. It makes it unquantifiable, which is a different problem and one a trader can solve by asking support in writing before paying. Anyone doing that should ask about stacking first and get the answer in a form they can keep.
What This Means for the Broader Prop Industry
The profit split boost is quietly becoming the sector’s preferred promotional lever, and it is a better one than the discount for both sides. A discount cuts the firm’s revenue on every buyer, including the large majority who will never reach a payout. A split boost costs the firm nothing except on accounts that actually make money, which means the firm can offer a headline number that sounds larger while paying for it only in the cases where the trader has already won. Traders should read it that way: a 90% split is worth a great deal to a trader who reaches withdrawal and nothing at all to a trader who does not, whereas 40% off is worth the same to everyone. Which of the two is the better offer depends entirely on an honest assessment of the odds, and our guide to evaluation rules and drawdown is a better basis for that assessment than any promotional page.
The second point is about housekeeping, and it is not specific to Instant Funding. A firm that renames its whole range in one week and then leaves a promotional block on its homepage naming the old products, alongside seasonal codes from a season that has not arrived, is telling traders something about how closely its public pages track its actual terms. That is a small thing when it affects a discount description. It is not a small thing if the same lag reaches a rules page, a drawdown figure or a payout schedule. The practical defence is the one that always applies in this sector: screenshot the terms you bought under, on the day you bought, and keep them. What a firm pays and how fast it pays is the measure that survives every rename, which is why the prop firm payouts tracker is the more durable comparison. A code that expires on Monday will be forgotten by Tuesday. A payout record will not.
