This week, we’re looking at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), one of the clearest examples of how the AI boom is expanding beyond the usual semiconductor names.
The catalyst was fundamental. At its Networking Investor Day, HPE raised its networking growth outlook and announced a $1.2 billion order from cloud provider Vultr for AMD-powered Helios AI server racks. Reuters reported that the announcement sent HPE shares sharply higher as investors reassessed the company’s role in AI infrastructure.
HPE’s networking business is becoming an increasingly important part of the AI infrastructure story. The company said demand continues to exceed supply, while AI-networking orders have accelerated significantly.
📈 Key levels
- $70-71 → immediate resistance / psychological area
- $69.33 → current price
- $67-68 → first support zone
- $64-65 → stronger support from the previous consolidation
A sustained break above $70 could confirm another leg higher, while rejection around that area would make the $67-68 zone important to watch.
🧠 The bigger picture
HPE is increasingly being viewed not simply as a traditional enterprise hardware company, but as an AI infrastructure and networking play.
The interesting part is that the AI opportunity is moving deeper into the infrastructure stack: servers, networking, data centers and the systems connecting AI workloads.
Bottom line: HPE has broken sharply higher on a combination of AI demand, stronger networking expectations and major customer orders. After such a fast move, the key question is whether the stock can establish itself above the $70 area or needs to consolidate first.
