  1. LinkedInWeekend review of the last trade

She shares a weekend review of her last trade on the JoinProp challenge account, with the full video on YouTube. She says a trading edge matters, and so does having the right environment to put it to work.

  2. XOn comparing prop firms with JoinProp

She calls JoinProp one of the best prop firm comparison platforms out there, saying it makes it much easier for traders to compare firms, understand the differences and choose a challenge that fits their strategy and goals.

  3. LinkedIn + X + Instagram + YouTube + FacebookTaking the JoinProp journey beyond LinkedIn

She announces that she is taking her JoinProp trading journey beyond LinkedIn, documenting the setups, the decisions, the wins, the losses and the lessons as it unfolds. She says she uses JoinProp to compare prop firms and explore the industry, and will trade with The Trading Pit for this challenge. No promises about the outcome, just the real journey, one trade at a time.

  4. LinkedInAnother missed entry on GBPJPY, and she chooses to wait rather than chase

After the earlier failed order block produced a change of character and a market structure shift, she marked a new point of interest last week. Price did not reach it and created a new entry zone instead. She decided not to chase it, having seen price print new continuation entries only to return and retest the original zones. Price has now mitigated that zone and rejected from it, so it may be respected, but it could still go back to her original level. Either way she is waiting, preferring to miss a move rather than force an entry because price started moving without her, and she is watching what the New York session brings.

  5. LinkedInThe bias is right, the setup fails, and she stays out

After reviewing her last GBPJPY loss she adjusted the zone, accounted for possible inducement sweeps and decided to wait for a 15M to 5M fractal confirmation before entering. Price invalidated the whole block before giving the market structure shift she wanted, so she did not chase it. She is now watching for a return to the 15M MSS order block as a possible reclamation entry, and will let the trade go if it does not come. GJ structure stays bearish for her until the supply zones are invalidated. Her lesson: being right about direction is not enough, execution still matters, and she would rather miss a move than pay for impatience.

  6. LinkedInA third loss on the account, and two of them from one setup

The buy order she left open over the weekend had already triggered, and at the market open the spread took her out for a 99 dollar loss against the 84 dollars she had risked. The same position stayed valid on her other account and price then pushed strongly upward, so after a 15M change of character she re-entered on the JoinProp account risking 47 dollars. During London the move was invalidated, with price using the demand area as inducement. No win yet on the challenge. She said documenting another loss does not feel great, but that she signed up to publish the losses as well as the wins, and that the goal is not avoiding losses but managing them better.

  7. LinkedInThe GBPJPY setup flips, and the buy triggers

The GBPJPY sell setup she had been watching finally played out, with price dropping to her target without ever tagging the sell entry. That target was also the buy entry she had marked on the other side of the setup, and price triggered it the day before, so she executed on the challenge account and on another account to an already defined risk plan. The execution was clean, but price has not moved far enough from the entry to give her much conviction yet, so she is letting the market do its thing and will document the outcome either way. The goal, she says, is not to predict every move but to execute the plan, manage the risk and document the process.

  8. LinkedInFriday update, still waiting for price to arrive

A slow week on the challenge. Price still has not reached her points of interest for either the sell or the buy setup, and although she marked another sell area, price keeps dropping without tagging the entry. She is watching and waiting for price to reach the areas she is interested in, with no forced entries, no chasing and no trading just to have something to post, on the view that sometimes the trade is simply waiting for the setup to come to you.

  9. LinkedInMidweek update: still waiting for a valid setup

By Wednesday she still had not taken a trade on the challenge. She has been watching GBPJPY and waiting for price to validate the levels she marked. The original plan was a sell before a potential move into her higher timeframe area of interest, but as price developed that short began to look less attractive, so she has shifted her attention to the potential buy and is waiting to see how price behaves around the area she is watching. She says no trade is better than a forced trade, and that documenting the decisions behind the trades she does not take is part of the journey too.

  10. LinkedInA GBPJPY setup she let go rather than chase

A sell lookout on GBPJPY that never gave him the entry. The plan was to wait for confirmation and ideally a retest rather than chasing the first reaction. What she did not spot in time was the change in the state of delivery as price moved away from the area, and by the time she recognised it the move was already underway. She chose not to chase it and to wait for a possible retest instead, and now price has kept moving she does not know whether that retest will come. Her line on it: she would rather miss a move than abandon her execution plan because price is moving without her. For now she is watching, and will reassess only if another setup fits her criteria.

  11. LinkedInThe level was invalidated, so she let it go

The XAUUSD level she marked on Saturday did not hold. Price reacted around the area, but the trade she took from that setup ended in a loss, and price has since continued to invalidate the level, so she has stopped looking for a reaction there. She is back to watching the market for the next point where price may give her something meaningful. Her takeaway so far from the challenge is that a level can look valid during analysis and still fail once price gets there, and when that happens the answer is not to keep forcing the same idea. Accept the invalidation, update the analysis, and wait for the next opportunity.

  12. LinkedInWeekend review of trade 1, and the level stays marked

Spent the weekend reviewing the losing trade rather than reacting to it. The direction had been right, so the study focused on the entry and the invalidation, specifically what goes wrong when a lower timeframe confirmation is used inside a higher timeframe setup. She has marked a new entry inside the same zone she worked yesterday, because she still believes the level is valid until price gives her a reason to think otherwise. Nothing to do now but wait for the open and see how price reacts. It may respect the level or invalidate it, and either way the market decides, not the urge to win the loss back.

  13. LinkedInTrade 1 on the $20k challenge, a loss on gold

First trade on the new account and it went against her. She took a long on XAUUSD based on her higher timeframe analysis. The direction was right, but the trade was stopped out before price continued. Looking back, the issue was the entry model and where the invalidation sat: she used a lower timeframe MSS confirmation and worked with that invalidation, while the main 4H CHOCH invalidation was wider. Price swept the confirmation level, stopped her out, then ran in the direction of the original bias. The lesson she took is to be clear about what actually invalidates the trade thesis, not just what invalidates the confirmation entry. Journal updated, no revenge trading, no forcing another setup, back to the process.

  14. LinkedInNew challenge starts now, and I am bringing you along

JoinProp From Zero to Funded has given me the opportunity to take on a Real Prop Challenge with The Trading Pit, and I am bringing you along for the ride. This is not just about trying to pass a prop firm challenge. It is another opportunity to put the lessons I have learned over the past couple of years into practice and document the process honestly: the market preparation, the setups I am watching, the trades I take, the trades I leave alone, the wins, the losses, the waiting and the lessons. What I am most looking forward to is documenting the psychological side of the journey, because trading is not just about finding an entry. It is about patience, risk management, discipline and being able to accept the risk before you take a trade. Whether I pass or fail, I want to look back and know I documented the process as it really happened.
