Trading update, 6 October 2026: Odu described his previous session. After his strategy was confirmed he took a trade in the Asian session and secured a profit, then closed the position when the market started consolidating instead of forcing another trade. He took a few more trades in the London session with the same approach, and at the time of posting had held a sell on XAUUSD for about three hours on a confirmed setup. No result figures are given.

On 5 October Odu was long XAUUSD on his 60K 2-Phase challenge and the market moved against him by about 1.3 percent. When the setup was invalidated he closed the trade instead of waiting for the stop loss. The next morning the setup confirmed again, he took a new buy on XAUUSD and has recovered about 0.6 percent so far. His lesson is that when the reason for an entry is no longer valid, cutting the loss protects the account.

After years trading Forex his view is that having a good strategy is one thing and having the discipline to follow it when the market tests you is something else entirely. He says he will document the wins, the losses, the missed opportunities, the drawdowns and the trades he got wrong, with no cherry-picking and no disappearing when things get difficult, and he makes no promises about the outcome.
