Mark price

What does Mark price mean?
Mark price is a venue-calculated valuation reference for a derivative, often based on an index and other pricing inputs. It may be used for unrealized profit and loss or liquidation checks.
Example
The chart's last trade is 60,100 while the contract's mark price is 60,080.
Illustrative example; not a provider’s quoted offer. Why it matters for prop traders
A stop using last price and a liquidation check using mark price can trigger differently. Confirm the reference used by both platform and prop risk rules.
