Pricing snapshot
SFX Funded runs five programmes. The table below lists the standard one-time fee for every account size on each of them, as supplied by the firm on 26 August 2026. SFX discounts these prices at checkout. The baseline is 50% off, and the firm moves the rate from time to time, so what you pay is well below the figure listed. Fees are marketed as 100% refundable: by default the refund arrives as a rebate with your 5th payout, and some promotions pay it back on the first. Two entries work differently. One Step Pay Later costs $7 up front and charges an activation fee only after you pass, shown per size in the notes column. SFX-GO is a single-payout account: $9 for $5,000 or $88 for $80,000, valid 30 days, one withdrawal capped at 1% of the balance, after which the account closes.

Company and regulation
SFX Funded is operated by SFX International FZCO, registered in Dubai (DS-22987). It is not regulated, and it is a simulated prop firm: challenges and funded accounts run on demo accounts via MatchTrader and a MetaTrader 5 option. Its own Terms are explicit that the accounts are simulated, that the funds are “fictitious,” and that there is “no entitlement to payout” in the strict legal sense - standard protective language for the sector, but especially relevant here given the firm’s marketing, as explained below.
The 20% Challenge Profit Bonus, explained
SFX Funded’s most-quoted feature is that it pays you a share of the profit you made during the evaluation. That is real, and it is unusual: almost every other firm pays nothing for evaluation performance. The detail that matters is the timing. The firm has confirmed to us that the 20% Challenge Profit Bonus applies to the 1-step and 2-step programmes and is paid after your 7th successful payout. It is a loyalty bonus for traders who go the distance, not cash in hand while you are still testing.
Read alongside the firm’s Terms, which describe the accounts as simulated, the funds as “fictitious” and state there is no entitlement to a payout, the practical reading is this: treat the 20% as a bonus you may reach much later, and judge the offer on the split, the fees and the drawdown rules instead.
The five programmes
SFX runs five products. They differ far more than the marketing suggests, particularly on drawdown, which is the rule most likely to end an account.

Only Ascend uses a static floor. The other four trail below your highest recorded equity, never dropping once set. Leverage is the same throughout: FX 1:30, commodities and indices 1:10, crypto 1:2. Several programmes also cap floating loss per trade: 1% of balance on 1-Step Pro, where a first breach cuts your split to 40% and a second closes the account; 2% on Instant Funding, tightening to 1% on the $300K and $400K sizes; and 2% on Pay Later and SFX-GO, where a breach ends the account.
Split and payouts
The split is a genuine strength. The three core programmes start at 85% and scale to 100%, with a paid 90% upgrade available on the 1-step and 2-step products. One Step Pay Later starts at 80% and scales to 100%. SFX-GO is fixed at 80%.
What you have to do before the first payout varies by product: 1-Step Pro needs 7 funded trading days and 3% profit; Ascend needs 14 calendar days, 5 trading days and 2%; Instant Funding needs 10 trading days and 4%. Ascend also offers Payout on Demand after 3 trading days, but at a reduced 40% split. Afterwards, 1-Step Pro and Instant Funding pay on demand, while Ascend and Pay Later run on a 14-day cycle. SFX-GO pays once and closes.
Two practical limits are worth knowing before you buy. Your first two withdrawals are capped at $10,000 each, and profit above that cap is deducted from the account balance rather than carried. Payouts under $100 are crypto only. Against that, the firm advertises a 48-hour payout guarantee with $1,000 compensation if it is missed, and reports an average processing time of around seven hours.
The SFX Stability Index
SFX runs a consistency rule it calls the SFX Stability Index: your best single day’s profit divided by total profit. The threshold is 15% on Instant Funding and SFX-GO, 20% on 1-Step Pro and funded Pay Later accounts, and 25% on Ascend. Usefully, breaching it is not a hard fail. You keep trading until the ratio falls back inside the threshold, at which point you can request a payout. That is a more forgiving design than the pass/fail consistency rules used by many competitors.

- Overnight and weekend holding: allowed on every programme, in both phases.
- Automation: trade and risk-manager EAs allowed, self-developed EAs allowed if you supply source code, third-party EAs not allowed. Copy trading is prohibited outright.
- Inactivity: 30 days without a trade suspends the account, with a reminder 5 days beforehand. A single trade restarts the count.
- Scaling: up to $400,000 on one account, $500,000 across all active accounts, scaling to $3.2M.
- Terms note: accounts are simulated with “fictitious” funds and no strict payout entitlement.
Verdict
SFX Funded leads with two genuinely appealing things: a high split of 85% up to 100%, and a 20% Challenge Profit Bonus on evaluation profit, paid after your 7th successful payout. For the right trader, that combination is a strong draw, and the 48-hour payout guarantee adds to the pitch.
The caution is that the headline promise sits in tension with the firm’s own Terms, which describe simulated accounts, “fictitious” funds and no strict payout entitlement, and some of its published details have needed correcting over time. That does not make SFX a bad firm, but it does mean the most attractive feature is also the least documented. If the 20% bonus is what draws you, note that it lands only after seven payouts, confirm the numbers for your specific plan, and treat the self-reported review scores as unverified.
