Notional value
What does Notional value mean?
Notional value measures the underlying economic exposure represented by a position. For many futures, it is the quoted price multiplied by the contract multiplier and contract count.
Example
A 4,000 quote with a $10 multiplier represents $40,000 per contract.
Illustrative example; not a provider’s quoted offer. Why it matters for prop traders
