Follow-up on the earlier XAUUSD outlook. There was strong volatility on the buy move today, but no stop-loss was hit — price didn’t respond at my entry level, so I stayed out. I’ll wait until a clearer setup shows up rather than force a trade.

But after waiting on a 4h chart close I decided to check the 1h time frame, spotted a short move, took the trade and made some profit with the opportunity. Added experience: I was able to split my risk into two places for the day, which helped me recover from the loss back to profit.
