Today’s New York session could bring increased volatility, with several high-impact USD events scheduled. The calendar includes the Core PCE Price Index, Preliminary GDP, the GDP Price Index, Durable Goods Orders, Personal Income and Personal Spending. I will be paying close attention to price action and avoiding unnecessary exposure around the releases. Sometimes the best trade is no trade.
Two break-even trades on EURUSD today. Not every trade needs to end in profit. Protecting capital and managing the position according to the plan is part of the process. I will stay patient and wait for the next opportunity.
Yesterday I took two stop losses on EURUSD, mainly because of my own stubbornness. As a result I’m sitting at around −1% drawdown. The lesson is clear: sometimes the biggest obstacle isn’t the market, it’s ourselves. When the market invalidates the idea, we accept it and move on. Only those who don’t trade never take a stop loss — they’re part of the job.
GBPCAD tested my patience. The position sat negative all through the London session, then closed in profit during New York. Trust the plan, manage the risk, stay disciplined.
Closed USDCHF with a stop profit, then watched the pair keep running toward the original take-profit. No regret — protecting the position and locking in gains was the plan. You don’t need to catch the entire move to trade well; the market always offers another opportunity.
Short on EURGBP reached take-profit exactly as planned. A reminder that patience, discipline and proper risk management are what matter — once the setup is executed, let the market do the rest. On to the next.
Today is CPI day, so I’m staying out of the market. High-impact economic news can create significant volatility and unpredictable price action. For me, protecting capital and avoiding unnecessary exposure matters more than forcing a trade. No setup, no trade — I’ll wait for the market to settle and come back when conditions are right.
Quick scalp before the London session. I took a short position on GBPUSD, looking to capture a short-term move before the main session gets underway. The idea is simple: execute the setup, manage the risk, and let the market do the rest.
Quick scalp before the London session. Took a short on GBPUSD, aiming for a short-term move.
Today the focus is on the USD high-impact news – NFP, Unemployment Rate, and Average Hourly Earnings. After taking a stop loss on EURUSD yesterday, my trading week is most likely over. There’s no need to force trades ahead of major economic releases. Sometimes the best decision is to protect capital, stay disciplined, and come back with a clear mind. See you back in the markets on Monday.
Yesterday I took a short position on BTC, but my execution wasn’t good enough. After entering the trade, the price action didn’t provide the confirmation I was looking for. Rather than hoping the market would move in my favour, I closed the position manually as soon as it was slightly profitable. In my trading journal I consider this a break-even (BE). Every trade is a lesson. Good trading isn’t about being right every time – it’s about managing risk, staying disciplined, and following the plan.
Shorted BTC yesterday. Poor entry and no PA confirmation, so I closed slightly green and logged it as BE. Discipline > hope.
Watching EURUSD. Waiting for a retracement to my POI with buy-side liquidity. May short the pullback on LTF before the main setup.
EURUSD is approaching an area I’m watching closely. The plan: wait for a retracement into my Point of Interest (POI), and during that pullback I want to see buy-side liquidity being created before looking for confirmation to execute my main trade. If the lower timeframes give a valid setup, I may also look for short opportunities during the retracement before price reaches my POI. Patience and execution matter more than predicting the market – I’ll let price come to me and only act if my conditions are met.
The pairs I was monitoring – EURUSD and GBPUSD for long opportunities, and USDCHF for a short – moved without returning to my Points of Interest. I did not chase the price. If the setup does not meet my rules, I simply let it go. Discipline means accepting missed opportunities and waiting patiently for the next high-probability setup. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
The market is on my watchlist. I am currently waiting for potential long opportunities on EURUSD and GBPUSD, and a short opportunity on USDCHF. There is no reason to rush. Once price reaches my Point of Interest, I will wait for a lower time frame confirmation before considering an entry. Patience and discipline remain key parts of my trading plan. Now it is a matter of letting the market come to me. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Today I took a long on EURUSD and a short on USDCHF. I decided to close both positions manually ahead of today’s USD news. Protecting capital and avoiding unnecessary exposure around high-impact events is part of my trading plan. A small portion of the drawdown has been recovered. Now it is time to stay patient and wait for the next high-probability setups. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
No trades yet. I am watching EURUSD and USDCHF closely, waiting for high-probability setups that match my trading plan. There is no rush to enter the market. Patience is a position too, and I would rather wait for my edge than force a trade that does not meet my criteria. Discipline over emotions. Execution over impulse. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
After the stop loss on EUR/USD, I am currently sitting at -1.7% drawdown. This is where risk management proves its value. It is the foundation that allows me to stay in the game, remain disciplined, and keep moving forward without letting a single loss affect the bigger picture. Tomorrow a new trading week begins – let us see what opportunities the market has to offer. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Trade update – EUR/USD. I am now long EUR/USD. The setup aligned with my trading plan, so I executed the trade and now it is time to let the market do its job. At this stage there is nothing more to predict or force. The plan has been executed, the risk is defined, and I will manage the position according to my rules. Now we will see if the market reaches my take profit. Once the trade is live, discipline means trusting the process, not your emotions. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Trade update – AUD/CHF and EUR/AUD. Not every trading day ends with a profit. Both my AUD/CHF and EUR/AUD positions were stopped out. The market did not validate my ideas this time, and that is simply part of trading. The important thing is that the risk was planned and controlled from the start: every position was sized according to my risk management rules, so these losses remain just another part of the long-term process. Trading is not about avoiding losses, it is about keeping them small, staying disciplined and continuing to execute the plan consistently. Today’s result does not change my confidence in the process. I will review the trades, learn from them if there is anything to improve, and patiently wait for the next high-probability setup. Protect your capital, trust your edge, and think in probabilities, not individual trades. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Trade update – AUD/CHF. My sell limit order on AUD/CHF has now been filled. The analysis is complete, the setup is confirmed, and the execution is done. From this point on my job is simple: follow the trading plan, manage the risk, and let the market do what it will do. One of the hardest parts of trading is resisting the urge to interfere with a trade once it is active – trusting the process is just as important as finding the setup. Plan the trade, execute the trade, let the market decide the outcome. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Trade update – AUD/CHF. The setup I have been waiting for has finally developed. After reaching the higher-timeframe supply zone, AUD/CHF has now confirmed an internal bearish CHoCH, providing the confirmation my trading plan requires. I have placed a sell limit order from my Point of Interest, allowing the market to come back to my level rather than chasing the move. This is a perfect example of why patience matters: waiting for confirmation and sticking to predefined levels helps remove emotion from the decision-making process. Now it is time to let the market do its job while I continue to follow my risk management rules. The best trades are planned in advance, confirmed by price and executed with discipline. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
AUD/USD trade update. Sometimes trading comes down to the smallest details. Today AUD/USD missed my entry by just 0.7 pips before moving in the expected direction. Did I chase the trade? No. If price does not reach my planned entry, I simply let it go. Discipline means respecting the plan, even when it is frustrating. There will always be another opportunity – protecting consistency is more important than catching every move. Missed trades are part of trading; chasing them is optional. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
AUD/CHF market update. Price reached my higher-timeframe supply zone, but it never gave me the confirmation I was waiting for. The internal bullish structure was not invalidated, so according to my trading plan there was no reason to enter the trade. This is a good reminder that reaching a POI alone is not enough – a valid setup requires confirmation, not assumptions. The higher-timeframe supply remains valid, so I will continue to monitor the pair and wait for an internal bearish CHoCH before considering a short position. Patience protects capital, confirmation builds confidence, discipline delivers consistency. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Market analysis – AUD/CHF. I am currently monitoring AUD/CHF for a potential short opportunity. Price has reached a higher-timeframe supply zone, but I am not interested in anticipating the move – my plan is to wait for confirmation. Specifically, I am looking for a break of the low that is currently holding the market structure. If the setup forms according to my trading plan, I will look for an entry. If not, I will simply stay on the sidelines. Patience is one of the most valuable skills in trading: the best opportunities come from waiting for the market to confirm your idea, not from trying to predict it. Plan the trade, wait for confirmation, execute with discipline. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Weekly trading update. This week was packed with high-impact USD news, and after taking a stop loss on Monday I made the decision to stay out of the market. Not every week is about taking more trades – sometimes the best decision is to protect your capital and wait for better conditions. Every week offers a lesson, and this one reinforced the value of patience, risk management and sticking to the plan. The goal is not to trade every day, it is to trade well when the odds are in your favour. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
High-impact USD CPI day. Expect volatility and manage risk. Sometimes the best trade is waiting. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
High-impact USD news today. The focus is on the latest CPI and Core CPI releases – events that can significantly increase volatility across USD pairs. Days like these are a reminder that protecting capital is just as important as finding opportunities. If you are trading today, make sure your risk management is in place and avoid forcing trades during periods of extreme volatility. Patience and discipline are always part of the edge. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Trade review – USD/CHF. Yesterday’s USD/CHF trade ended in a stop loss, and it was an important reminder of something I already know: never anticipate the market. Price reached my point of interest, but instead of waiting for confirmation I entered based on what I thought was going to happen. That was my mistake. The market does not reward opinions – it rewards discipline and patience. A valid setup is not just about reaching a level; it is about waiting for the market to confirm the idea before executing. Every loss is an opportunity to improve: wait for the POI, wait for confirmation, then execute. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Stopped out on USD/CHF. I entered at my POI without waiting for confirmation. Lesson learned: do not anticipate – let the market confirm. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Trade update – USD/CHF. Yesterday I took a short on USD/CHF. The setup aligned with my plan, but my execution was not as good as it should have been – a poor entry, which I will review and learn from. Even so, I managed the position according to my rules and closed the trade in profit. Every trade is a reminder that there is always room to improve, not only in analysis but also in execution. With high probability this was my last trade of the week – now it is time to review, reflect and prepare for the opportunities ahead. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Closed my USD/CHF short in profit despite a poor entry. Good reminder that execution always matters. Likely my last trade of the week. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Trade update – EUR/USD. Today I closed the EUR/USD position I entered yesterday; the trade has been fully managed according to my plan. Every position is another opportunity to practise discipline, patience and consistent execution. The outcome of a single trade does not define long-term success – following the process does. Focus on execution and let the results take care of themselves. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Closed my EUR/USD position from yesterday. Another trade executed according to plan – on to the next setup. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Trade update – EUR/USD. I am now in the EUR/USD trade I had been patiently waiting for. The setup aligned perfectly with my plan: market structure, a key point of interest, and liquidity taken into the POI before entry. This is a reminder that high-quality trades come from preparation, not prediction – waiting for price to reach your levels and confirming the setup is what keeps you consistent. Now the trade is live and I manage it according to my plan. Patience creates opportunities, discipline executes them, consistency builds results. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
EUR/USD trade is live. Structure, POI and liquidity all aligned before entry. High-quality trades come from preparation, not prediction – now I manage it to plan. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Market update – EUR/USD. EUR/USD is approaching one of my key points of interest. Now comes the most important part: waiting. If price gives me confirmation on the lower timeframes I will look for a trade; if not, I simply stay out. One of the biggest mistakes in trading is chasing price instead of letting the market come to you. Patience, discipline and consistency are what separate a trading plan from emotional decision-making. Wait for the level, wait for the confirmation, then execute. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
EUR/USD is approaching my POI. I will only enter if price gives confirmation on the lower timeframes – otherwise I stay out. Patience and discipline over chasing price. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Trade update – GBP/CHF ended with a stop loss. The setup met my criteria and I executed according to plan; not every valid setup results in a winning trade, and that is part of trading. One trade does not define the journey – I share both the wins and the losses, because consistency is built on transparency, not perfection. Trust the process, manage the risk, move on to the next opportunity. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Stopped out on GBP/CHF. The setup was valid and the execution followed my plan – losses are part of the process. One trade does not define the journey. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Trade update – GBP/CHF. Today I entered a short on GBP/CHF after price reached an extreme H4 supply zone. Rather than chasing the market, I waited for price to come into my area of interest and for my entry criteria to align before executing. Whether it ends in profit or loss, the focus stays on disciplined execution and consistency – the edge is not predicting the market, it is following the plan. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Short GBP/CHF from an H4 extreme supply zone. Setup confirmed – now it is all about execution. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Patience is part of the strategy. Today the focus is EUR/USD, but there is no high-probability setup that meets my plan, so I am staying on the sidelines. One of the biggest mistakes is forcing a trade just to be in the market. No setup, no trade – protecting capital is as important as growing it. Discipline over impulse, process over prediction. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
No setup on EUR/USD today. No trade. Patience and capital preservation come first – waiting for the setup to occur. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Small scalp closed on EUR/CAD – quick execution, target hit, risk controlled. No more trades today, done for the day. Discipline first. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Small scalp closed on EUR/CAD. Quick execution, target hit, risk controlled. No more trades today – I am done for the day. Discipline first. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
Skipping the New York session today due to high-impact USD news – capital preservation comes first. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
High-impact USD news day. Today I will be staying out of the market during the New York session. With major U.S. releases such as Non-Farm Payrolls, Average Hourly Earnings and the Unemployment Rate, volatility is expected to be extremely high. Trading is not just about taking positions – it is also about knowing when not to trade. Protecting capital is part of the strategy; there will always be another opportunity once the market offers a high-probability setup. Patience is a position, discipline is an edge. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
No trades today. The market did not offer a valid setup on the pairs I monitor. Trading is also about waiting and protecting capital. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit. Trading carries risk; past performance is not a guarantee.
No trade today. Not because I do not want to trade, but because the market has not given me a valid setup. Not trading is also a position – patience is part of the strategy. Protecting capital is just as important as making profits; forcing trades only leads to unnecessary losses. Today I choose discipline over action. The market will still be here tomorrow. #ad – paid partnership with JoinProp and The Trading Pit.
